Shopping: ankle boots

Autumn is here and I need a new pair of shoes. Some people might slightly disagree when inspecting my shoe collection (hubby...), but I honestly need something that is not overly wintery (boots), yet can be worn with socks (my feet get too cold in flats now!). Therefore, I need ankle boots.

Ever since falling in love with these beauties (below) back in spring, I now need a darker pair that could be worn when out with a toddler (do they have food-stain resistant ones?), be comfortable when driving and look good when I am going to my various work meetings.



Acne

So here are my top three:

1.  It's got to be Acne again. These are just perfect.

My personal shopper aka Mother is in town for a few days so it's a great opportunity to update my currently pretty much non-existent S/S2013 wardrobe!

Destination: Kings road, Harrods and Fenwick at Bond Street

These little beauties are from one of my favourite shops in London - Blue Velvet on Kings Road. They were the first pair I tried on and after trying on many many more afterwards (and much more expensive), I came back and got them! Love everything about them and they are really comfortable, which is an important aspect when you have a toddler.

Classic Ferragamo. Love these. I own a similar pair in navy. Had them for over five years. These will never ever go out of fashion. Could be justified as an investment piece...

Be slightly different and try watermelon champagne this Valentine's.
Rub the rim of the glass in lemon juice and then 'dunk' it into coconut flakes. Blend some watermelon, strain and add to champagne depending on your taste.
